When Sephora was offering their $25 off promotion in December, in addition to picking up the Bite Beauty Champagne Discovery Lip Set I also couldn’t resist the Sephora Favourites “Give Me Some Nude Lip” Lip Kit. I had really enjoyed Sephora’s “Give Me Some Bold Lip” Lip Kit. I love the idea of getting to try out sample sizes of popular lip products for much less than it would cost to get the full size of all six items. I haven’t been traveling as much this year, but a few weeks ago I was in Toronto and made it to a Sephora in-person and while there, I spotted the Sephora Favorites Give Me Some Bold Lip kit. After using this a couple of times under my MUFE Ultra HD Invisible Cover Foundation, I have to be honest, I saw absolutely no difference. No light. No glow. It did not create “an aura of light behind [my] foundation.” I prefer my Marcelle Ideal Skin Perfector instead which is a great, light, fragrance-free moisturizer/primer for dry sensitive skin, and about half the price. Verdict: Skip-it. Continue reading
