Finally, Too Faced Love Flush, the Adorablest Blush Ever!

Too Faced Love Flush blush

The packaging is even my favourite colour!

The Too Faced Love Flush Long-Lasting 16-Hour Blush has been on my wishlist ever since I first laid eyes on the mind-blowingly cute packaging. Not having a Sephora anywhere near me, was the only thing that stopped me from immediately going there and buying the entire collection! When I placed a Sephora order last month I added Baby Love to my cart. When the blush first arrived, I could not even. I mean, observe the cuteness!

Heart-shaped blush?!

It even has a heart-shaped mirror [swoon]

Is this not packaging-porn or what?

Open up the pink heart-shaped compact to reveal…bunnies!!! #cuteoverload

But does the blush itself live up to the level of awesomeness of the packaging you’re wondering? This is my first Too Faced blush. I am super impressed! First of all, I love the shade Baby Love, described as a “soft dusty nude w/ fine gold sparkle.” I wouldn’t have gone for it based on that description alone because I’m not really into shimmery blushes and the word “sparkle” is not one you would want associated with a blush IMO. However, looking at pics and swatches online and reading some initial reviews, I felt safe that this blush wasn’t a glitter bomb, and it is not.

Baby Love

Baby Love is a very subtle, warm-toned pinky-nude blush, that on my fair, cool-toned skin shows up as a light, warm pink with some plum undertones. It isn’t matte, but it also doesn’t have a ton of shimmer. Its a nice natural hint of shimmer. You can see from the swatch, you can apply it quite lightly and get a very natural flush on fair-skin. Its also buildable if you want a stronger look.

I found the blush to be very soft and buttery, and easy to apply and blend. Does it last 16 hours? I don’t usually have makeup on for that long. I do find it long wearing and it makes it through my typical 8-10 hours of makeup wearing without  fading. Thankfully it doesn’t oxidize and shift colour which a lot of blushes are prone to do on me, although I think it does darken slightly.

The Too Faced Love Flush blushes are $32.00 CAD. You do get a nice bit of product (they are the same size as the .21oz MAC blushes which are $26 CAD). The extra $6 is definitely for the packaging, which you have to decide for yourself is worth the extra splurge or not.

What do you think? Are you loving the heart-shaped Love Flush blushes?

Thanks for reading!

I loove this blush! I have the same shade and it’s great dupe for Exposed on me (I’m a NC20)

  4. Oh wow that’s super cute packaging! I’m a total sucker for that 😀

  5. Indeed a lovely color and super cute packaging

  6. Cute packaging – I’m not a hearts kind of gal but the TF ones are nicely done. The compact looks really sturdy and functional too – it’s not every day you see a mirror with a blush. These nude kind of colours are always fantastic – they go with just about any look!

I'd love to hear what you think! Please leave me a comment.
