Bite Beauty is a Canadian brand available exclusively through Sephora, that makes lip products made from food-grade ingredients that are “good enough to eat.” Bite lip products are handcrafted one at a time and contain natural and certified organic ingredients. I have seen such amazing reviews of this brand, and the last time I was in Sephora I swatched many of the shades wanting to try one out. I fell in love with the Luminous Creme lipstick in the shade Cava, but was disappointed that they were sold out of the shade (although that’s always a good sign a colour is popular!). I recently placed an online order and added Cava to my cart.
Described as “lilac beige”, I think Cava is one of the most unique shades of lipstick. Its a cool-toned, pinkey brown nude but has subtle purple undertones. An amazing nude shade for fair skin, you can play up the brown, pink, lilac, or grey tones depending on the lip liner you use with it. I love it with MAC Whirl or Subculture. I don’t have anything like it in my lipstick collection.
The Luminous Creme lipstick doesn’t have any added fragrance, but it does have a scent, probably from some of the ingredients like Beeswax, Jojoba Seed Oil, and Shea Butter. Its a natural, slightly fruity scent. I love the formula of the Luminous Creme lipstick. Its very luxurious, creamy and moisturizing and feels great on the lips, almost like applying lip balm. I can understand why people are loving the Bite Beauty lip products.
The Bite Luminous Creme lipsticks are $28 CAD.
