How is it I have only just now discovered MAC Paints? I was watching one of Sanni’s (missmai27) tutorials where she was doing a very subtle, understated eye look, and she used MAC Paints in Sublime Nature. Not to be confused with MAC Paint Pots, Paints come in a little squeezable tube. I had never heard of them!
Paints are described as:
“A high performance eye shadow product which goes on creamy; dries to a powdery finish…Creates a smooth, crease-free, slightly shiny, reflective look to the lid.”
Sublime Nature is a “mid-tone naked beige” and combined with the texture of the Paints creates a very natural, “no make-up” type of look. Very pretty and subtle, particularly on fair skin.
I found it easy to apply and easy to blend, and it stayed put all day with no creasing. I did use my Too Faced Shadow Insurance under it, but I do that with all the cream shadows I have (Maybelline Color Tattoos, Chanel Illusion D’Ombre, Benefit Creaseless Cream Shadows) because I find all eyeshadow will crease on me without a primer.
MAC Paints are $25 CAD. Paints only come in four other shades: Stillife: pale peach with icy shimmer; Bare Canvas: champagne with shimmer; Untitled: soft grey-mauve with shimmer; and Bamboom: beige-brown with golden shimmer.
Have you tried them?
Thanks for stopping by ❤
