Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush in “Mood Exposure”

I couldn’t resist the lure of the Hourglass Ambient Lighting blushes any more. The only thing stopping me was that I didn’t want to splurge without being able to actually swatch them in person. Then, I was traveling for work and had a chance to go to a Sephora and I fell in love with “Mood Exposure”. Look how pretty it is:

Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush in “Mood Exposure”: Swirly goodness!

“Mood Exposure” is described as “soft plum” but I think its more on the neutral side. It doesn’t look overly “plum” on me. It gives a naturally flushed look. It has a very natural finish (not matte, but not shimmery) and it’s super easy to blend.

The Hourglass blush is so soft. It’s the softest powder I have ever felt. Its the kind of blush that can go on lightly at first, but is buildable. You can really control how much you apply, which is great for fair skin. It just feels luxurious and the fancy, mirrored packaging certainly makes you feel like it was worth the splurge. It IS a splurge. The Hourglass Ambient Lighting blushes are $41.00 CAD.

Have you been able to resist the Hourglass Ambient Lighting blushes or is there a shade you are coveting?

Thanks for stopping by ❀

love

  1. Very pretty! I have been able to resist but that’s because I’ve always been super cheap haha

These all look so pretty! I generally avoid blushes that aren’t a solid color all the way through (because I worry about destroying the beautiful design and about what color I will end up with), however, these are so lovely, they are on my lust list

    • I know what you mean. The SA at Sephora was really nice & opened the boxes to let me look at each one, since each pattern is unique & it effects the shade you get. I would definitely recommend buying these in store vs ordering online, especially considering that they’re pricey.
