Fall Lipsticks

Revlon’s Super Lustrous Lipstick is one of my favourites. It’s really pigmented, wears well, and is smooth and moisturizing. I don’t even feel like I’m wearing anything, and it has never irritated or dried out my lips. The thing I really like about it is that its unscented. It has no smell or taste whatsoever. There are over 70 shades to choose from, but here are a few of my favourite shades for fall.

L-R: Spicy Cinnamon, Blackberry, Mauvy Night, Black Cherry

Spicy Cinnamon is a wearable berry-red. Its a “pearl” finish, so it has some shimmer. The name of this shade night make you think its more of a brown tone, but its definitely berry.

Blackberry is more of a full-on deep, burgundy red. Its a “creme” finish. Its really pretty on people with fair skin for a “Snow White” effect or a classic 1950’s type of look.

Mauvy Night is a cool, purple-ish, berry shade. Its also a “creme” finish. Its less intense than the other three. I think it suits more fair and more cool-toned skin. Its one of my favourites to wear year round.

Black Cherry is a very dark wine colour. I always think Black Cherry and Blackberry should switch names. This shade is more like the colour of an actual blackberry (whereas “Blackberry” lipstick is red). It reminds me of a shade from the 1920’s or 1930’s. Very dramatic!

In Canada, you can pick up Revlon lipsticks at any drugstore and they retail for less than $10.

What lipsticks are you loving this fall?
